Instead of working on my literary essay on
The Crucible worth 15% of my final mark, I doodled. Yeah. The next two weeks are going to be
brutal, but I can't wait until it's all over and done with. Like every year, I'm swarmed with last-minute unit tests and assignments, culminating projects and exams, but this year, I also have to get all the supplementary applications handed in to Universities. My marks really count for something this year, so I have no choice but to focus and try hard. I guess I should start by actually doing work in class instead of slacking off. Lately, class time has been spent doodling, reading, or playing my DS.
Sooo productive...
In other news: February 18th is officially "Family Day", a new statutory holiday in Ontario. Although there are a lot of complaints about it, I'm excited to get a random day off in the middle of February! Also.. I never really got into Canadian politics, but somehow, the U.S. elections have sparked some interest in me and I've been following them somewhat closely. It's odd.
