Gingerbread man baking.

• Nicky, Jess and I made sugar cookies and gingerbread men (and women) for our friends before the Christmas break. All the cookies were ..."faulty" in one way or another, but it's the thought that counts, right?
• So it's finally Christmas break, and I should be relieved and excited... but it just feels like something is missing.
• As for other plans, I'll be occupying myself with family gatherings during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Shopping on boxing day is definite, and I will be leaving for a seven day mini-vacation at a resort with eight of my friends on December 30th. I'm looking forward to lots of snowboarding, and spending New Year's Eve getting piss drunk. (Joking... maybe)
• I am proud to say that I've submitted my University applications early, and I'm good to go (I hope).
• I support local music: Jesse Labelle, Sam Ellis, and my cousin's friend Mandippal Jandu.

A week of recklessness.

BACK TRACK:
Remember how I said my parents were going on vacation from Nov 29 - Dec 10?
Before they left, they gave me over $800 to spend and here's what went down...


The food I survived on for a week.
(Golden Oreos, Kraft Dinner Easy Mac, Bagels & Cream Cheese, Michelina's, Pink Lemonade, Ms. Vickie's and Jello)


Some of my friends came over ...every day.
We tried to make our own dinner one night (ps: looks good.... tasted HORRIBLE)


We had tea with milk and sugar every day after school,
and hot chocolate with marshmallows at night.


Most nights we went out for dinner, but when we didn't, we went out for dessert instead.


I went to the Eaton's Centre and got all of my Christmas shopping done early this year.
We stocked up my fridge with beer, coolers and jello shots in prep for my birthday.

The party went pretty well....


AFTERMATH.
.....other than the puke, broken bottles, spilled drinks, party crashers, and flooded toilet. Oh, it wasn't just a flooded toilet... the water leaked downstairs to my family room and ripped the wall (and now there's a hole)... but yeah.

That was my seventeenth birthday.

I got some really awesome presents though :)
