Firewood singalongs and sugar highs.

To sum up this weekend: lots of swimming in the cold water, lying out in the nice weather and just chilling, playing countless games of pool with the music blasted, sugar highs from all the candy we ate, hiking through the woods (and as a result, being bitten by many bugs that i can confidently say WEREN'T just mosquitos), starting the bonfire, roasting marshmallows and singing campfire songs, late night talks and just pure relaxing.

Cooking with friends.

Tomorrow, I'm heading to my friend's cottage up North for a couple days and it's going to be lots of fun :) School registration is in four days. School starts in eleven days. OH MY.. I am so not ready, but one thing's for sure-- I'M STARTING A FRESH NEW SLATE. Goodbye to sleeping in and skipping class, goodbye to not trying and giving up... I really need to end high school on a good note.

Radioheadish.

Lately: I've been listening to Cartel's new album (in advance) on repeat. I start a four day driver's education course tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to waking up early. It's been constant ups and downs with my boyfriend, but again... what's new?

Autographs & apologies.

I. On the 7th, I went to the Opera House and saw Motion City Soundtrack with The Higher, Sherwood and The Forecast. I bought a "The Higher" tee and got Seth to sign a poster for me :) Those guys are so humble-- they were working their own merch stand!

II. For the last couple days, I was in Auburn Hills, Michigan doing some shopping while my dad was on a business trip.

III. I'm seeing Damien Rice on Sept 10 and I am beyondddd excited. My friends always know how to make me smile :)

And the verdict is...

Summer school is FINALLY done and over with, and although the make-up course was only two weeks long, I'm really happy with the results. My mark went up FIFTY FOUR PERCENT (54%!!!) compared to my original failing mark of 43%. Anddd would you look at that. Absolutely NO absents or lates!
